Sottostazione Elettrica is a curious specimen in the field of portual-industrial arechology. It has been built between 1914 and 1915 following the project by Giorgio Zaninovich. The complex was supposed to transform electric energy, but today it has been staged with furnitures and exposition of the findings.
In the common parts customized furnitures have been realized, offering reception, study rooms, wardrobe, and, in the basement, compact archives have been installed to contain different materials for almost 1000 meters of archivistic surface. Great attention was given in the realization of the permanent staging parts, especially for the signage and the services.
